Retiree:  Marc Schoch

I worked for P&G for almost 37 years. My first role was as a process engineer on laundry products.

After 9 years in Engineering, I moved to manufacturing for the rest of my career. I progressed from department manager up to plant manager of 3 plants before I retired. I worked at seven different locations which was a lot of relocations for my wife and family. I started in Cincinnati, had 4 more domestic locations, and had the wonderful opportunity to work in Japan and South Africa; polar opposite cultures with each one being incredibly unique.

My wife Judy and I retired in the high country Rocky Mountains of Colorado and it was a great decision to move here. We have made so many friends and we live the active outdoor lifestyle. My wife Judy and I have been married for 38 years and we have 2 daughters and 1 son, and we have one granddaughter and now a new grandson too!!!!

P&G provided our family with some great adventures and cultural experiences both domestically and internationally and for that we are grateful and we are loyal consumers. Living in the Rocky Mountains provides the opportunity for lots of hobbies. Judy and I snow ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, hike, road bike, mountain bike, camp, fish, hunt, etc. Family life is the best job ever, retirement is the second best job ever.

Retiree: Steve Andrusisian

I worked for P&G for 30 years at four different plants, three different locations. I started at the Cheboygan, MI plant in the Pampers business. I spent 22 months in Cheboygan before having the opportunity to transfer to the Mehoopany Diaper plant for assignments in the Pampers business. After 8 years at Mehoopany, I transferred to Albany, GA for an assignment in the Baby Care business. I had one 3-year assignment in Albany, then transferred back to Mehoopany as part of the Baby Care business for a site-wide project leader role. At the completion of that assignment, I moved into the Mehoopany Family Care business for the remainder of my career. All my time with P&G was as a Manufacturing Manager with 75% of my assignments being in line operations.

I graduated from The US Naval Academy so prior to joining P&G, I spent six years on active duty in the USN. After active duty, I spent 14 years in the US Naval Reserve retiring in 1996.

Kathleen and I reside in Dallas. My main activities since leaving P&G have been: Physical Fitness -swimming three times a week… taking up golf and then playing golf… doing Genealogy research for both my family and my wife’s family.

Retiree: Bob Barkley

I worked 28 years at Procter & Gamble as an engineer at the Mehoopany Plant. I took advantage of the opportunity for early retirement to explore a career in education. Since "retirement," I have worked ten years as a faculty member in the Tunkhannock Area School District and taught as an adjunct at Keystone College.

My wife, Debbie, and I have been married 34 years and continue to live in Tunkhannock where our yard is always a battle for territory between dogs, squirrels, and black bears. We have two grown children who live in Kentucky and western New York.

We enjoy regional travel and an occasional long trip, always choosing to avoid the trendy spots in favor of the great little diners off the beaten path.

 Best advice: "Enjoy every sandwich."

Retiree: John Fronzoni

I worked 32 years with P&G, all at Mehoopany. My last role was that of Family Care Group Manager but throughout those decades, I wore many hats; Tech Engineer, Pulp Mill Operations, Plant Engineer, IWS Manager, Plant Services, HS&E

I live in Larksville, PA , a mile from my childhood home with my high school sweetheart. We spend lots of time with our 4 young grandchildren who live in Ann Arbor, MI. I really find a lot of fun in now being a High School Field Hockey Coach since 2009.

Other activities that I try to squeeze into my life as much as possible are fishing, bowling, golf, and video editing.

Retiree: Frank Holdren

I worked 30+ years at P&G.  I spent my entire career in baby care but worked in many departments at the plant and did travel with the company; to Cincinnati, Ohio and Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

I am still living at my home for 30 plus years outside of Laceyville, PA in the country.

Because of the Covid19, both of my daughters are now living with us and working from home. I have really been enjoying it as before I would only see them for short periods 4-5 times a year.

I enjoy hunting and touring the property on my 4-wheeler. I am just really enjoying life on a good schedule!!

 I AM TRULY A BLESSED MAN !!!!

Retiree: Lyle Wildrick

I worked for P&G for 34 years. My first 14 years as a Technician in Pampers then Papermaking. The last 20 years as management across many areas of the plant. Some of the roles were Papermaking Maintenance, Site Services, HR, BC IWS, Paper Machine ODL, FAM Maintenance, Safety and a Cincinnati role based in the plant.
We transferred to Cape Girardeau Missouri from 1998-2001 as part of the Papermaking/Converting expansion there. My role there was to implement Maintenance Systems across Papermaking and Stock Prep. In 2010 we moved to Belleville Canada. My role there was in the FAM operations as the Maintenance leader.

My wife, Mary, and I have two daughters and one granddaughter and another grandchild on the way. Jamie lives in Tunkhannock and Jessica lives in Odessa Missouri.
We split our time between Tunkhannock and Sun City Center, FL. We also do some traveling in and out of the country.
We both enjoy playing golf, travel and working around the house in our garden and flower beds.

I still play a role in the Tunkhannock Moose when in town and continue to run the Moose Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Jeff Schaffer Scholarship.

Retirees: Gary & Kathy Kulah

Gary worked at P&G 37 years, all in Mehoopany, starting in the Diapers module. Filled multiple roles in that module along with other roles in Building Maintenance, Papermaking Maintenance and the Diaper Roll Shop.

Kathy worked at P&G for 35 years, all in Mehoopany, starting in the Bounty operation. Moved on to multiple administrative roles in HR, Medical, Employment, Payroll, ending up in Plant Engineering, Building 51.

We've stayed at our home in Auburn Center in our retirement, but Gary takes as many trips as possible to hunting cabins across the country and Newfoundland. Kathy has ventured all the way to the West Coast to see Chris and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We have three sons; Christopher, who is getting married in July ’20 to Mairi, lives in Oregon… Scott, who is married to Leanne and has two daughters, Kaley and Charlotte, lives in Tunkhannock, PA… and Allen, who is still single at this time, lives in Ulster, PA.

Gary enjoys three things; hunting, hunting and hunting. (with perhaps a little hunting thrown in on the side) He hunts turkey, whitetail deer, moose, elk, buffalo, Ringneck pheasants, just about anything that moves that he can eat. And for the past 20 years, he has been working on his barn with intention to turn it into a working woodshop.

When asked about her interests, Kathy simply states, “crocheting maximus”. “I feel about crocheting like Gary does hunting. Only every waking moment.” She also does caregiving for a neighbor three mornings a week, so that takes up part of her week. Kathy also dabbles in traveling with a group of girlfriends.

“So far, so good – haven’t used any of the bail money.”

Retirees: Rich & Wendy Keller

Wendy - 20 EMS - ALS Ambulance EMT(ALS) - Supervisor and Patient advocate
Lackawanna County EMS covering 911 (primarily in Scranton - same company different names) .

Rich - 38 years P&G - Bounty Converting and Operating Platform Leader
Office site - Mehoopany but traveled the country to all the paper plants.

We are living in Tunkhannock area during our retirement, with the possibility of more time out of the area (Snowbirds) which we have begun in past years since retirement.

We’ve been married 41 years and are blessed with 3 children and 4 grandchildren; all living in the area.

Due to being prepared for retirement, including financially, we are in a position to be more mindful of others and their needs. We are blessed with our kids nearby and have been able to be more available to them to enjoy this special time we all share.

We LOVE to travel within the USA and have a fifth wheel RV that serves us well but we’ll sometimes drive across the country in a car for exploration. There are so many wonderful places we have been blessed to see and people we’ve met. We love the outdoors and historic areas and can also be found on our Kayaks fishing from time to time or just hiking a trail. We have met up with many friends from school and work and have shared wonderful moments with them. Basically, we open ourselves up to the “new” that we now find ourselves in, afforded in the comfort of having someone look out for what our personal wants and needs are. As we have said, it is not about turning the page towards the end of the book - it is about reading a new chapter.
